Cast aluminum grilles and registers are well suited where weight and cost is an issue. Aluminum grilles are perfect for anyone who desires the Old World look and is concerned about the added weight of bronze grills.  Aluminum grilles and registers are available in two paint colors: flat black and a bronze painted finish.

Installation Tip:  Many contractors install bronze grilles for the supply registers and aluminum grilles for the return air vents.  Most return vents are in low light hallway ceilings.  You can hardly notice the difference from a distance.  Aluminum grilles are lighter to install and more economical.
