What is the difference between a grille and a register?
A register is a complete unit with a metal louver attached to adjust the amount of airflow. If you don't see a register in the size you need simply combine a louver assembly and grille to create your own custom register.

If the inside measurement says 10"x 6" do I cut my hole 10"x 6"?
Yes. If the inside measurement on the grille you're looking at is listed as 10"x 6" you can cut your hole 10"x 6" and the lip will fit into your opening.

What is the advantage of using resin versus aluminum, steel, wood or plastic?
Please see the chart in “Technical Specifications” Section. As you can see from the chart our proprietary thermal resin is the ultimate material for producing architectural grilles. Metals rust, wood warps and splits and plastic cannot be painted.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Approximate delivery time is from 3 days to 4 weeks. Grills in stock are shipped UPS ground the next day. Any special fabrication requires more lead time. Orders are processed as they arrive. When we are backlogged it can take us up to 4 weeks to get your order fabricated.

Are your grilles flat? What is the thickness of your grilles?
Yes our standard grilles are provided flat; however Web Grilles can be bent to fit any radius (concave or convex) please provide a template to ensure accuracy.

Can your grilles be flush mounted into the floor?
We do not recommend resin grills be installed for floor applications. If floor grills are required we recommend you visit our parent company, Classic Grills, they can be found at www.ClassicGrills.com

Do you make custom sizes?
Yes. Custom sizes and custom shapes. We recommend switching to a larger scale of grille pattern when the grille gets over a 24” x 24” size.

How do the dampers attach to the grille?
Dampers are attached to the grills by two to four (depending on the size) small Phillips screws.

Can your grilles be used as foundation vents?
Yes, our grilles can be used outside. Our grilles should be primed and painted for exterior applications. They are an excellent choice as they are not affected by the sun or rain/moisture as other grille materials are.
